Steven K. Sanders II

Steven K. Sanders Jr., affectionately known as "Man" by those who knew him best, went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 8, 2024. 

He was born on April 28, 1978, in Michigan City, Indiana to Connie and Steven K. Sanders Sr.
After graduating from Michigan City Area Schools in 1997, Steven pursued a career that merged his passion for technology with his natural aptitude for problem-solving. As a Freelance IT specialist, he was known for his tenacity and ability to unravel the most complex of computer issues. His work not only showcased his technical prowess but also his dedication to helping others navigate the digital world.
Steven's life was characterized by his love for his family and the joy he found in his many interests. An avid gamer. He was also a fervent basketball fan, both as a spectator and a participant, playing with friends and sharing his love for the game with his family. His fascination with computers was not just his profession but a hobby that kept him engaged and constantly learning.
He is survived by a family that adored him: his parents, Connie and Steven K. Sanders Sr.; his big sisters, Li’Toia and Stephanie; brother-in-law, Ty; and his cherished nieces, Ja’Lynn, Trinity, Kylie, and Jream Elaine. Steven was a beacon of wisdom and fun for his nieces and enjoyed every moment he spent with them. His long talks with his only nephew, Ernest “Khalil” Sewood, were filled with laughter, advice, and a shared understanding that only the closest of bonds can forge.
The memories of Steven's life and the love he shared will forever be cherished by a host of family and friends. His legacy is one of kindness, and the deep connections he nurtured throughout his journey. Steven K. Sanders II spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
As we say farewell to Steven, we will celebrate the remarkable person he was at 6pm Friday, April 19, 2024 at the Michigan City Senior Center, 2 Lake Shore Drive, Michigan City, Indiana.
In the quiet moments, we will find solace in our recollections of Steven's laughter, his wise counsel, and the shared experiences that bonded us to him.
